Grand tribute to Bahrain planned by major expatriate Club
In anticipation of Bahrain's 52nd National Day, the Bahrain Kerala Samajam, one of the oldest and largest expatriate clubs on the island, is set to pay a grand tribute through a spectacular painting competition. The event, scheduled for December 15th, will take place at the club premises in Segaya.
Expressing admiration for Bahrain as a welcoming home to expatriates from diverse nations, PV Radhakrishna Pillai, the Club's President, remarked, "Bahrain is truly a wonderful country to live in. We appreciate the compassionate rulers and the loving people who have shown a high level of acceptance and tolerance to expatriates. For most of us, Bahrain is our second home."
The General Secretary of the club, Varghese Karakkal, underscored the organization's responsibility to show respect to the country, its leaders, and its people. "As one of the largest and vibrant expatriate associations on the island, we have embraced the duty to commemorate Bahrain's National Day through an extensive painting competition open to all ages. Come, let us collectively offer a heartfelt tribute to Bahrain," he added.
The competition will be divided into five age groups: 5-8 years, 8-11 years, 11-14 years, 14-18 years, and an open group for participants above 18. The event, commencing at 9 am on Friday, is open to all, irrespective of nationality. Participants stand a chance to win attractive prizes in each category.
The organizers also extended a warm invitation to Bahrainis and other expatriate community members to join them as volunteers if they wish.
